With 143 knobs and 53 switches you can vary any possible setting intuitively.

- First of all:
This mixer map is not able to vary settings in 'real time':
Any changes DURING PLAYBACK will cause undesirable sound effects!
Please do any changes while the XG synth is pausing.
- Default Variation effect:
The default Variation effect is Delay-LCR.
- Activating of the 'SYS-Mode':
By default the Variation effect is switched to 'Insert Mode'. In this case the Variation effect
can only be used by one single 'Part', and you'll need to assign this part to the
Variation effect to be able to use it!
In most cases you should prefer to switch the Variation effect to 'System Mode':
Like this you can use this effect for all parts simultaneously!
(This can be done simply with the switch 'Ins/Sys' of this mixer map - just
switch it to 'Sys Mode').
- Area 'GLOBAL SETTINGS EFFECT 3':
These settings are common for all the 42 available effect types.
- The differences between green, blue an red knobs:
Many single effects (like: Autopan) and effect groups (like: Karaoke 1, 2 and 3) have
'common knobs' to vary all available (common) settings:
Knobs like this are in green colour (common for the whole effect group).
Some effect groups have different colours for the knobs:
Knobs in 'blue colour' are common for the whole effect group, but knobs in 'red colour'
(marked with: ONLY:...) are only available for 'special effect types' of this group (like: Delay/Echo).
- The snapshot 'Basic' in this mixer map:
This snapshot will reset the Variation effect to the following (mostly default) settings:
a) The effect Delay-LCR will be activated (default effect)
b) The master send and master pan will be switched to #64 (default settings)
c) The reverb and chorus send will be switched to #0 (default settings)
d) All knobs of section 'CTRL Depth Modulation Setup' will be switched to #64 (default settings)
e) The switch 'Ins/Sys' will switch to 'Sys mode' (DIFFERING TO THE XG DEFAULT SETTINGS!)
f) Note: The effect parameters of Delay-LCR won't switch to the default seting (I don't know the default settings :-(
